If you’re happy to go ahead, I’ll need a £100 deposit to book you in

Once you’re booked in, I’m all yours to talk about all things makeup.

I’m sure you’ve got some questions.

Here are the answers to the ones I’m most frequently asked!

Why should I hire a professional makeup artist for my wedding?

Hiring a makeup artist means taking one more thing off that long to-fo list of yours to make sure your wedding morning is calm and you can feel relaxed and pampered. Not to mention, with a makeup artist’s skill and experience, they’ll create a look that suits you and enhances your natural beauty.

Do I need a makeup trial? And when should I have it?

I recommend that all my brides have a bridal makeup trial so you can be sure that you will love your look on the day. The decision on when to have your trial is up to you but I usually advise it takes place between one to three months before your wedding for two reasons. Firstly, your skin is in as close to the condition it will be on the day, and secondly, it won’t interfere with any other wedding related appointments. I suggest you bring a picture or two of the kind of look you’d like to have on your wedding day. I’ll use these images to create a look I think you’ll love, and then we can continue to make small alterations from lipstick colour to eyeliner flicks to eyeshadow techniques until you’ve got a look you know you’ll love on your wedding day.

Can the rest of my bridal party have a trial?

Of course! Anyone getting their makeup done on the day or who is undecided as to whether they would like theirs done, is welcome to have a makeup trial in advance. All trials last 2 - 3 hours and can be done at my home studio or at their house. Makeup trials are an additional cost. Feel free to check out my services and prices just above this section.

Do you travel?

Yes! My aim is to make sure that your wedding runs as smoothly as possible. Travel within 10 miles of my home studio in Chertsey is included in the price. If you’re wedding is taking place further than that, there will be a small travel cost included to cover traveling expenses.

Should your wedding be abroad, feel free to discuss your needs with me and I’ll be able to send you a quote.

I have a big bridal party? Will you be able to manage all of us?

A large bridal party is not a problem. I will bring one of my partner makeup artists with me to ensure everyone is looking perfect by the time they walk down the aisle. This may incur an additional fee to cover the costs of the second makeup artist. If it’s something you want to discuss with me, I am always available to chat.

Are false eyelashes necessary?

In my opinion, false eyelashes complete a full makeup look. It is the finishing touch that adds that extra glam and sparkle to any look whether it be natural or dramatic. Individual lashes are my go to for brides, instead of strip, as they are more customisable and so very light that even a lash novice won’t feel like they are wearing anything but yet it will still complete the look perfectly.

How long before my wedding should I book a makeup artist?

We makeup artists can get booked up pretty far in advance, so I recommend that you book in your makeup artist as soon as possible, once you know your wedding date.

How can I contact you in the run up to my wedding?

I am always available to speak to my brides, whenever suits you. You can contact me by call, text or email for any makeup related queries in the run up to the big day.

What makeup brands do you use?

You can check out the list of makeup brands in my kit here.

I’m a self-confessed product junkie so I am always adding to my kit. You’re welcome to contact me to see if any new brands will be added to my collection.

Do you offer hair services as well as makeup?

In my opinion, getting your wedding makeup done is a luxury that just can’t be rushed! So, I focus only on makeup. However, I am happy to make suggestions on which hairstyle will work best with your look if you need it. Plus, you’ll be able to relax and feel completely pampered on your wedding day with a team of people working on your complete look.

How long will my makeup last?

I set your wedding makeup so it lasts for the whole day (and some clients have told me - well into the next day!). You’ll look as flawless in the evening as you do walking down the aisle.

Where can I read reviews about your service?

You can read my glowing (excuse the pun!) testimonials from happy brides right here on my website or you can check out what people are saying on Google Reviews.

Do you provide makeup services for same-sex weddings?

Absolutely. I love to work on same-sex marriages and commitment ceremonies, and I’m entirely willing to split my time between two brides! Don’t forget; this will mean I spend a little longer with you on the day to make sure that you both look completely flawless walking down the aisle. I advise that you both come for a makeup trial in advance to make sure that you’re pleased with your bridal looks on the day.

Want to chat a bit more?
